Taihu Hospital is a bold and refined vision of medical care campuses of the future. The proposal is based on an overriding desire to create a new “community heart” within Taihu Lake International Health Care Town that reaches out to the surroundings and the broad district planned.

CONDE Urban Design led the masterplan and the design of buildings and open spaces, looking to strike a balance between flexibility and function, while creating spaces and opportunities that connect patient, families, and staff to each other, to nature, and to the community.
